Job Opportunity: Maintenance Planner

A leading manufacturer of food products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner.   The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning, coordinating and scheduling of maintenance activities. The Planner will support the work order planning process by writing, reviewing and verifying work orders, work plans, procedures and installation work plans for modification requests. The Planner, with the support of other groups, establishes the work plan guidelines for conducting maintenance at the plant. The Planner will be responsible for assisting with the planning/scheduling of daily work activities including corrective maintenance, testing, surveillance, call-ups and training. The position is in southeastern North Carolina.

Experience:
A minimum of three years experience associated with planning and scheduling of maintenance in a manufactturing environment is required. The candidate must possess a basic familiarity with industry codes and standards.

Education:
Associate Degree in a technical field or trade school certificate is preferred or equivalent work experience.

Additional Information
Candidates must be able to interact with all departments including but not limited to Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Warehouse/Purchasing, Security, and Production Planning.  Must possess highly developed verbal and written communication skills; must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude; must demonstrate or have the ability to develop computer skills that are required.
